Austin Optometrist & Eye Doctors
Dr. Tammy Vo, Austin Optometrist
Look + See Vision Care was born out of Austin eye care provider Dr. Tammy Vo’s desire to have her own business and to create a fun, memorable experience for each of her patients.
Optometrist Dr. Tammy Vo obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Piano and graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Following her time at UT Austin, she received her doctorate and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. In her final year, she completed two prestigious clinical rotations in Dallas.
The first rotation was at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic, with an emphasis on primary care and the treatment and management of posterior ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts for a largely indigent population. Her second rotation was at Plaza Vision Center, with an emphasis on specialty contact lens evaluations for anterior diseases such as keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post-graft, and other corneal irregularities.
Dr. Vo is a friendly, outgoing person who is truly passionate about optometry and stays up to date with the newest and latest technology to provide the best experience for her patients. Her favorite part of the job is spending extra time with patients, getting to know them, and seeing them return year after year.
When Dr. Vo isn’t hanging out with patients, she enjoys playing music, going to concerts and festivals, traveling around the world, and eating delicious food.
